Merry Xmas Sonic! Your $720 Million Gift (Thanks to Rovi)

Wow, I didn't see this coming! Rovi (formerly Macromedia) is buying Sonic Solutions for $720 million. This follows Sonic's buy of DivX earlier this year. It truly is the season of giving!

Congratulations to Chairman Bob Doris, Mark Ely and others at Sonic (for whom I previously consulted back in the day); and congratulations (again!) to my good friend Kevin Hell (former CEO of DivX).
